BCDD joined forces with The Eve Appeal to host an informative women’s health event at JN Bank, Brixton, focused on raising awareness of gynaecological cancers and encouraging early screening. Attendees heard from healthcare professionals about symptoms to watch for, the importance of attending smear tests, and how to advocate for themselves within the healthcare system.
The afternoon included interactive discussions, myth-busting sessions, and the distribution of culturally relevant resources. The event created a safe space for open conversations, empowering women with knowledge and confidence to prioritise their health.
